A bonus of up to $10K can be paid to an eligible participant willing to teach at an eligible or high-need K-12 public, charter, or Bureau of Indian Education school for a minimum of three years. The applicant must meet military service and program application requirements. Currently, neither program funding nor infrastructure is in place to support awarding stipends or bonuses.
What is the process to apply for a bonus?
Once you become employed as a full-time teacher, you must provide a copy of your teaching contract as employment verification. Since most contracts only provide the school district and not the specific school, grade, and subject, the TTT National Office will provide you with an additional document to complete. You will need to have the document signed by the school in addition to a financial assistance agreement.
